Even though you are only buying properties, do consider MM2H. MM2H and properties are independent of each other but if you plan to buy to stay (even in the distance future), then you have to consider the long-term visa. Otherwise, you might end up with a property but without a long term visa to stay.

All applicants must show that they are financially strong and they have to meet this requirement to get the visa. You have to show that you have at least RM500,000 equivalent in liquid asset like cash, fixed deposits or in mutual funds but properties and stocks are not allowed.
